Traveling to sunny tropical destinations, travellers have endless upon endless options as to were they would like to stay…but for those of you that would like to experience what the Garden of Eden looks like let alone what true pampering is all about, then Secrets Maroma is just what the doctor ordered.
Nespresso, Tequila and (good grief) Bourbon are not exactly libations that come to mind when I think of drinks that I would like to consume let alone mix. I am more of a dirty martini, G&T and Champagne lover kind of lady. For heaven’s sake, I don’t even drink coffee for that matter.
After several press conferences at the Wine and Food Festival, my stomach started to grumble something fierce. Patience I told myself, patience. Don’t get me wrong, there was an array of delicious finger foods for those attending the conferences but I wanted and craved more…it was after all, a Wine and Food festival!
Some people revel and dream about meeting their favorite Hollywood actor or their number one sports hero let alone a Grammy winning band. Mine was meeting and hearing the words of wisdom from the legend himself…being face to face with one of my culinary sources of inspiration – Joan Roca!!
