Thoughts of summer easily conjures up images of local farmlands rich in bounty and having delicious ingredients fresh and accessible for our meals.  We are very fortunate that we have a great relationship here in Ottawa with our farmers and local producers.

Believe me, the things that I ate, saw and experienced during my childhood years of living abroad has given me a true appreciation and respect for other cultures.
