Red & White Gala 2015

For the second year in a row I will have the pleasure of attending Harmony House‘s Red & White Gala. For those of you not familiar, Harmony House is the only second-stage women’s shelter in Ottawa. They provide safe, affordable transitional housing for women and children who are survivors of violence.
Harmony House relies on donations, sponsorship, and fundraising to help women and children and that is why the Red & White Gala is a great opportunity to not only support this organization but to also enjoy an event showcasing great culinary skills from two amazing chef’s: Michael Blackie from NEXT and Mark Gray of Brooklyn Warehouse in Halifax, NS. Live stage demonstrations from the two chefs as well as partaking in tantalizing poisons from local wineries and breweries definitely spells an evening of fun!
